There are a lot of names to chose from for various races. But there is more than just candidates on the ballot. There are also Measures on the ballot. Measure N is an annual parcel tax to fund local hospitals and emergency healthcare for the new Imperial Valley Healthcare District. Measure O is a Calexico Sales tax it is a public safety sales tax for police, fre, EMS, ad disaster preparedness. Measure Q is a $1.8 million school bond for a gym, athletic, parking, and energy upgrades Measure R is a $28 mlilion School Bond for facility, classroom, athletic and infrastructure improvements for Westmorland Elementary, Measure S is a half cent countywide sales tax for public safety, 911 response, emergency service, facilities and equipment. It has a 20 year expiration date.. Measure T is El Centro's half cent sales tax for public safety, and city services. This tax has no expiration date.
