U.S. Border Patrol agents recently broke up a human smuggling operation in Seeley.
According to the Border patrol press release, the incident began when agents came across a vehicle they believed involved in smuggling activity. Following an investigation, Border Patrol agents tracked the smuggling activity to an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Haskell Road in Seeley. Agents were able to observe individuals attempting to transfer people between multiple vehicles. A total of 19 illegal aliens and four people believed to be smugglers. Six vehicles were seized during the investigation. All 23 face federal prosecution.
