(County D.A.'s Office has a new Gun Violence and Illegal Firearm Tip Line)...The new confidential tip line is designed to combat gun violence and help keep firearms out of the communities.

The local District Attorney's office is partnering with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. They have implemented a comprehensive Firearm Violence Reduction and Initiative. They say the plan focuses on reducing gun violence through proactive enforcement, intelligence sharing, targeted investigations and community engagement with a strong emphasis on accountability and collaboration.  The local tip line provides a safe and anonymous way for the public to report illegal gun possession, unlawful firearm activity, or information about individuals prohibited from owning firearms.
