The Brawley City Council met Tuesday.

Councilmembers got an update on the Lion's Center Pool repair project. The council learned that the project plans are under review by the Imperial County Health department. Other updates included reports on the site inspection, finalization of pricing for repair work and submission of the full cost of repairs to the insurance provider for approval and payment. The project remains on schedule for completion in Spring 2026.

The council also approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Brawley to provide financial and in-kind support for the 2025 Cattle Call festivities.
