The City of Calexico is no longer designated as a high-risk government agency.

The announcement from the California State Auditor concluded that the City of Calexico has taken satisfactory corrective action and addressed key deficiencies leading to the removal from the Auditors high-risk designation. According to Mayor Diana Nuricumbo, the removal of the high-risk designation is a crucial step forward for the community.
