The County is seeking $1.2 million. The funds would be for a Northend Cool Project. A Calipatria Hub and Countywide Cooling Plan, located at 190 East Main Street in Calipatria.. The site will include backup power, Outdoor shade, a hydration station, bilingual signage, and temperature and utilization censors. Currently, the County Library in Calipat is used as a cool center.
