(County Supervisors meet Tuesday)...They will begin by presenting the Medal of Merit and a resolution honoring Camilo Garcia Jr.

The Medal of Merit is the highest honor presented by the County. Victor Quinonez will be recognized as Employee of the Month for the Month of May. Employees will be recognized on the Milestone Anniversaries. The Board will go into closed session. They will hold a conference with Legal Counsel to discuss existing and anticipated litigation. Conferences will also be held with the real property negotiator and labor negotiator. There will be Employee Performance Evaluations for the Executive Officer, Clerk of the Board, and Public Works Director. On the action agenda, the board will consider a letter opposing Senate Bill 675. They will consider supporting Senator Padilla's SB 420, relating to the property tax welfare exemptions for detention facilities. The Supervisors will also discuss the proposed budget for the County.
