(County Board of Supervisors recently went to Washington D.C.)....The Board members, Peggy Price, Jesus Escobar, Ryan Kelley and John Hawk were accompanied by the County Executive Officer and other staff.

The trip was to advocate for regional priorities and participate in the Benchmarks Conference, an international gathering focused on critical minerals and battery supply chains. They also met with federal officials to advance initiatives that support economic growth, improve quality of life for residents and position Imperial County as a leader in America's emerging clean energy economy.
