A county road is closed due to a sinkhole.

The Imperial County Public Works Department has reported a sinkhole at the Westside Main Canal bridge on Urquhart Road at Fites Road southwest of Brawley.  The closure is in effect until further notice. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route.
