(Imperial County has a team in the World Championship)...It is the 2026 First Robotics World Championship in Houston, Texas.

The Foundation for Education, in partnership with Imperial Unified School District, has announced the Imperial High School's robotics team, Tigerbotics, has qualified for the 2026 First Robotics Worlds Championship. It is being held in Houston, Texas. The Championship will run from April 29th through May 2nd. These talented students will be competing on the global stage.
