The California Highway Patrolis investigating an early Friday morning collision.

The accident, at Forrester and Mudd Roads was reported shortly after 2:00 a.m. Two vehicles were involved and one individual was flown to an out of county hospital by Mercy Air with major injuries. The accident remains under investigation but initial reports are that it was Driving Under the Influence related.
