(County Board of Supervisors issues a statement)...It was before the Public Hearing Tuesday.
The Board Reaffirmed their commitment to safe and orderly Public Meetings. The last meeting dealing with the proposed Data Center was anything but orderly. The same crowd was expected for the Public Hearing Tuesday. The statement said Public meetings are a cornerstone of transparent government and civic engagement. They exist to ensure that all voices in the community have the opportunity to be heard. However, this process depends on a shared responsibility: that participants conduct themselves with respect for others, for the rule of law, and for the democratic process.
