The El Centro City Council will meet Tuesday. Closed Session will start at 3:30 p.m.
The Closed Session agenda includes meeting with labor negotiators with various employee groups. There is also a conference with legal counsel about anticipated litigation. Another Closed Session item will deal with Public Employee Discipline/Dismissal/Release.
At 6:00 p.m. Open Session will begin. The council will consider a resolution that would establish a fee waiver program to incentivize new development in downtown El Centro. The council will also consider a resolution to award the bid and authorize the execution of a contract for the Valley Center Point Plaza Demolition Project. A presentation on the proposed water and sewer rate structure will be made with direction to staff. Council will also consider a funding amount and funding source for the purchase and installation of new bus shelters in the city.
The meeting will be held in council chambers at City Hall.
