El Centro Police recovered a stolen cat Wednesday.

Officers observed the car that had been reported stolen in Indio and were able to recover the car and the driver. The traffic stop was made in a bank parking lot that is right next to the El Centro Police Department headquarters. The suspect was arrested without incident and then booked into Imperial County jail.
