The State Route 86 Beautification Project continues.

The project has been underway through the City of Imperial for several months. This week the project will close one southbound lane of the highway from 12th Street to 2nd Street as crews work on the median. Turning lanes will be closed at 10th, 6th and 4th Streets. The work will be done between 5:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Motorists are sdvised to find alternate routes and allow extra travel time.
