(Earthquake recorded south of Mexicali)....The US Geological Survey recorded the quake at 8:39 Tuesday morning.

The magnitude 3.4 earthquake was centered about 12 miles south of Mexicali. There have been no reports of damage or injury as a result of the minor quake.
