Union members with Transdev approved the strike after contract negotiations broke down. Transdev is the 3rd party operator of bus and paratransit services for Imperial Valley Transit in Imperial County. IV Transit has posted a notice of service interruption on their website. The notice apologizes for the disruption and urges their clients to search for alternate transportation until a tentative agreement is reached. Both sides say negotiations are continuing
