A small earthquake shook the Northend of the Imperial Valley Monday.

The magnitude 3.0 earthquake was recorded at 4:38 p.m. and had an epicenter 9.9 miles west of Westmorland. The small shaker went unnoticed by most Imperial Valley residents.
