(Brawley Police were asked to perform a Welfare Check)..... Monday officers went to the business on Main Street and North Palm Avenue.

They looked in the window and saw a person on the floor. The officers entered the business and found it was an elderly man, and he was dead. The County Coroner's office was called in. Police hope the autopsy will determine the cause of death. They say they did not see any signs of foul play. The victim was only identified as an 87-year-old male. Police say until the autopsy results are in, the case will remain open.
