(Earthquake recorded south of the border)...US Geological Survey recorded an Earthquake in the open desert.

It was reported at 28 minutes after mid-night this morning. USGS says it was centered about 78 miles south of Mexicali. It was a magnitude 3.7. There have been no reports of anyone on this side of the border feeling the temblor. No damage or injury has been reported in Baja California.
