U. S. Customs and Border Protection officers recently made a number of drug seizures at the Andrade Port of Entry.
Nearly a half million dollars worth of drugs were taken off the street in a four day period. On September 26, a canine officer and his drug-detecting dog located over 239 pounds of methamphetamine concealed in the trunk, door panels, rear seat, gas tank, spare tire and quarter panels of a car.
On September 29, a CBP officer and his narcotics detecting dog, located another 147 pounds of methamphetamine concealed in a vehicle.
